OFFICIAL NOTICE REGARDING THE NALPN ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Dear Members, Partners, Vendors, Speakers, and Supporters:

On behalf of the National Executive Board of the National Association of Licensed Practical Nurses (NALPN), we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who expressed interest in participating in and supporting our 2026 Annual Conference.

After careful consideration, the National Executive Board made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 conference. We recognize the time, enthusiasm, planning, and commitment extended by our prospective speakers, vendors, partners, members, and supporters, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this change may have caused.

As NALPN continues its longstanding mission of educating, elevating, and empowering Licensed Practical and Vocational Nurses, our organization is entering an important period of restructuring and strategic planning. This process will allow us to strengthen our national operations, expand opportunities for member engagement, develop new partnerships, and thoughtfully plan future educational and professional experiences for the practical nursing community.

We are pleased to share that the date and location of NALPN’s highly anticipated 2027 National Conference will be officially announced on October 1, 2026.

We are tremendously grateful for the interest shown in NALPN and for the organizations, professionals, educators, presenters, vendors, and community partners who offered their expertise, services, resources, and support. While we regret that we will not gather as originally planned in 2026, this cancellation does not diminish our commitment to the LPN/LVN profession or our vision for the future of NALPN. Rather, this period provides an opportunity to strengthen our foundation and prepare for the next chapter of our national organization.

We hope that those who expressed interest in working with us will remain connected to NALPN. We look forward to renewing these conversations and exploring opportunities to collaborate as our 2027 conference and future programs take shape.

We look forward to welcoming the practical nursing community back together in 2027.
