About NALPN

The National Association of Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurses (NALPN) was founded in 1949 to outline a professional organization that encompasses licensed practical nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and PN/VN students and affiliates.  Our organization includes professionals of all ages, in all practices, and across multiple states.

In addition to state chapter events, NALPN is proud to present an annual convention highlighting member achievements, offering multiple continuing education credits, and assisting its members in networking opportunities. We encourage, but do not require, the participation of members on national and state levels both for active and retired professionals and seek to endorse and uphold the esteemed values of all those that fall under our defined scope of professional practice.
